Borderline Love
Originally created for Marshall's debut institutional solo exhibition; 'Cursebreakers' at the De La Warr Pavilion in collaboration with Flatland Projects in 2021, this is the first piece of a large linocut triptych. The series begins with an ending as 'Borderline Love' shows snapshots of a broken relationship. On the top right corner, we see a version of Hastings’ famous Green Man, for this exhibition Marshall wanted to incorporate the rich folklore and magic of the town.
